Is It Illegal For My Short Term Disability Insurance Company At Work To Not Let Me Cancel In Az?
Posted by Kuka under auto on 28 二月, 2010I work at big company, and they normally only let you change your insurance elections once a year, but I thought it was required that they let you cancel insurance at anytime? Assuming you don’t sign some sort of contact saying otherwise.
Does anyone have any info on this?

Not illegal. As long as the employer is contributing any premiums to it, the law only allows changes to be made, if there’s a “life event” such as being hired, or fired, or there’s a birth, death, or divorce.
You have to wait for open enrollment, unless you get laid off.

Loved the article, plenty of great advice. When it comes to planning a wedding, I always advice my brides to do their due dilligence.
